Private lessons are scheduled on a cases by case basis, at least two months in advance. Hamm is open to one-on-one classes or up to three students at a time. The subjects covered can be requested by the student(s) including lathe work, bench work, specific techniques, etc.

A typical class would be 3 full days, with the prior evening devoted to meeting and planning.
